OUR COMPETITIVE ROBOTICS TEAMS

Where Future Engineers Become Competitors.

CRA C-Club is the competitive robotics community of Caribbean Robotics Academy (CRA), bringing together students who are passionate about engineering, robotics, and innovation.

Through hands-on learning, technical training, and competitive experiences, members develop the knowledge, skills, and confidence needed to design, build, program, and operate robots in challenging environments.

As representatives of CRA, our teams participate in local and international robotics competitions, applying engineering principles, strategic thinking, and teamwork to overcome real-world technical challenges.

Membership in CRA C-Club begins with the successful completion of CRA's Fundamentals of Robotics course, which provides the foundational knowledge and technical skills needed to prepare students for competitive robotics.

BEYOND THE COMPETITION

More Than Robots. More Than Winning.

At CRA C-Club, competitive robotics is more than building robots and participating in tournaments. It is an opportunity for students to develop essential technical and professional skills through practical engineering experiences.

Our students engage in a continuous process of problem identification, research, design, prototyping, testing, and improvement while learning to make informed decisions under real competition conditions.

Through this experience, students strengthen their technical abilities while developing leadership, communication, collaboration, resilience, and problem-solving skills.

OUR PHILOSOPHY

Student-Led. Coach-Guided.

At CRA C-Club, we believe that true engineering growth happens when students take ownership of their learning, decisions, and achievements.

Building upon the knowledge and technical skills developed through CRA's Fundamentals of Robotics course, C-Club provides an environment where students transition from guided instruction to independent problem-solving and student-led engineering.

Rather than providing ready-made solutions, our coaches serve as mentors, encouraging students to think critically, explore alternatives, evaluate their decisions, and learn from both successes and failures.

Students take responsibility for their robot's design, construction, programming, testing, and competitive strategy while developing the confidence and independence needed to overcome increasingly complex challenges.

Through this approach, CRA C-Club promotes five essential principles:

  • STUDENT AUTONOMY: Take ownership of engineering decisions, explore solutions independently, and develop confidence in technical problem-solving.

  • ACCOUNTABILITY: Accept responsibility for individual contributions, team commitments, engineering decisions, and competition outcomes.

  • COLLABORATION: Work effectively with teammates, exchange ideas, resolve disagreements, and make collective decisions toward shared goals.

  • CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT: Evaluate performance, learn from mistakes, and use evidence to refine designs, strategies, and technical solutions.

  • LEADERSHIP: Take initiative, support teammates, communicate effectively, and contribute to the team's development and success.

THE COMPETITIVE EXPERIENCE

From Concept to Competition.

Members participate in a structured engineering process that prepares them for the technical and strategic demands of competitive robotics.

Throughout the competition season, students work collaboratively to:

  • Analyze competition rules, objectives, and scoring opportunities.

  • Establish engineering goals and performance requirements.

  • Design and develop competitive robotic systems.

  • Apply programming and automation concepts.

  • Document their engineering process and technical decisions.

  • Test, evaluate, and continuously improve robot performance.

  • Develop and execute competition strategies.

  • Represent CRA with professionalism, integrity, and sportsmanship.

OUR TEAMS

Representing CRA Through Competitive Robotics.

CRA C-Club brings together students with different levels of experience who share a commitment to learning, innovation, and competitive excellence.

Our teams participate in robotics competitions according to their age group, technical preparation, and the competitive opportunities available each season.

Participation emphasizes technical development, collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.

WHO CAN JOIN?

Your Journey to Competitive Robotics Starts Here.

CRA C-Club welcomes students who are passionate about robotics, engineering, and competition. To become eligible for membership, students must first successfully complete CRA's Fundamentals of Robotics course.

This foundational course introduces students to essential engineering principles, robotic systems, mechanical design, programming, and problem-solving skills, preparing them for the technical challenges of competitive robotics.

Upon successful completion, students may apply to join CRA C-Club, where they can continue developing their skills as part of CRA's competitive robotics teams.

Admission is subject to team availability, age eligibility, and the requirements of each competition season.
